(Jin Thanksgiving day the peo
p'e of Trenton tnado the preacher
and his family more thankful, that
their lives had been thrown in
pleasant places, and among friends.
The day was truly a day of thanks
giving. At 11 o.m, we had servi-
ees a the church, 2:30 we met on
Lookout creek near the Sitton mil l ,
where the ordinance of Baptism
was admin stored to Bro. William
Wilkinson, and he was received
into the church by the preacher at
7 p.m.
The home of the preacher was
surprised by an army of soldiers
composed of 52 friends, armed
with baskets, chickens, sacks of
Hour and meal, and in fact most
everything was represented that is
needful in a kitchen to make home
nappy; and as the day jjj tided to be
numbered with the past, we were
truly thankful that our lot had
been cast in pleasant places, and
we live among friends.
May God bless your friends and
may the Good Shepherd ever lead
you in green pasturers and through
pleasant places.
