■ Cramping Spells
1 “-piOR MORE THAN A YEAR I had been in a
1^ of very Route bad condition,” 1, Dorchester, says Mrs. Texas. R. E. “I Kimbrell, suffered
with cramping spells which gave me bad pains in
my back and sides. Sometimes I would have to
catch at something, I w<mid get so suddenly dizzy.

“In April I went up to Arkansas to visit my sister. . . .
She Baid to me, 'Willie, if you are going to take anything,
take Cmrdui, It will really help you.’ I came home and told
my doctor what she had said and he said I could not take any
better tonic, so my husband immediately got me a bottle and
I began it ... My case was a pretty tough one, I know, so
I kept on faithfully. After the fourth bottle, I began to feel
very much better, so much so that I was surprised at myself.
I have taken six bottles now and I can truly say I feel like a
different woman. ... I feel fine and I owe it all to Cardui,
S which I took faithfully.”

A Headless Man
Seen In Trenton
Among the latest “hant’
rumors current comes one that
a certain citizen discovered a
headless man prowling around
his front veard, took a shot at
the said headless man, but the
shot had no perceptible effect,
and the man went the even
tenor of his way. Of all the
ghost tales we have heard (and
we have aenrd many), this one
has puzzled us most.
Coming as it does on the
aftermath of the report that
the body of Frank Collins, of
Sand Cave fame, was to be ex¬
humed, we can oniy surnwse
that this headless man was be¬
ing closed persued by our ener¬
getic sheriff and his deputies,
took refuge in a cave, and a
boulder falling on his head thus
pinning him securely, he was
apprehensive that his family
would b« ur.eary because of his
not returning home on time,
decided to leaxehis head under
the boulder in the cave, so
crawled, craw fish like back¬
wards out of the cave, and was
endeavoring to make his way
home, when fired on by this
watchful citizen of the town.
The idea of witchcraft has
been prevelent in the world
ever since Ring Saul talked
with the Witch of Endor, when
the Greeks W3re wont to con¬
sult the Oracle of Delphi, down
to the time when the headless
Hession spirited away the per¬
son of Ichabod Crane, the popu¬
lar schoolmaster of Sleepy
Hollow.
