To the Voters of the 7th Con-
gressional District:
Having received many letters
from friends throughout the dis¬
trict inquiring if 1 will be a can¬
didate to succeed myself, and be¬
lieving it proper that my inten¬
tions should be known. I there¬
fore formally announce my can¬
didacy for reelection as Repre¬
sentative from the 7th Congres¬
sional District in the 70th Con¬
gress, subject to the rules and
regulations to be promulgated
by the State Executive Commit¬
tee, and the Executive Commit¬
tee of the 7th Congressional Dis-
ti ict.
If you approve my record as a
representative, and believe my
ong experience in congressional
iffairs better qualifies me to
^erve the district and state, I
shall greatly appreciate your en¬
dorsement and support.
