Notice to Contractors
Sealed bids will be received by
the undersigned f«*r the building
of a Court House in Dade County
Georgia at Trenton, in said county
according to plans and specifica¬
tions on file with the undersigned
at his office i n said County and
open to the inspection of the pub¬
lic. The work on said Court House
to begin on July 1st, 1926 and to
be completed by March i6t, 1927.
The work to be paid for as fol¬
lows; On the 15th, and first of
each month, eighty per cent of the
actual costs, to be estimated by
the Architect, the remaining twen¬
ty per cent to be paid when the
work is finally completed and ap¬
proved by the by the architect,and 1
accepted by the Ordinary and , I
building committee. AU pros¬
pective bidders in submitting their
bids, will take into consideration,
the old Court House or the salvage
therefrom, or so much thereof as
may be used, in the construction
of the new building, said salvage
to be used to be passed on by the
Architect; and bids to be submit¬
ted, are to be made, so as to in¬
clude this 6alvBge,

dressed to I. H, Wheeler Ordinary
Dade County,Trenton,Ga, marked
plainly on the outside of the en¬
velope, so as to identify thtm as
such bids, and be placed in the
hands of said Ordinary at his of.
fice in Trenton, Georgia, on or be¬
fore twelve o’clock noon June 7th,
1926 No bids will be received
after said hour on said date. The
right is reserved to reject any and
all bids. Any person awarded
the contract will be required to
give bond, as is provided by law,
in the sum of double tke amount of
their bid for the faithful perfor¬
mance of their contract,same to be
'a security bond, with some auth¬
orized Surety Company, said bond
to be approved by the ordinary.
The bidder will be required to
accompany his bid with a certified
check for ten per cent of the
amount of his bid, which check
will be returned in case his bid
is rejected.
