The Bible was never intend¬
ed to icaclt men science, but
ihe Bible is scientifically cor¬
rect. Jesus said, “If ] have told
you earthly I hi nag and you
don't believe them, how will
you believe me if I tell you
heavenly tilings 1 ' 1 ” If vve can’t
believe what the Bible says a-
bout this world, how can we
believe what it says about the
next world?

We read in the Book of Job
that God hung the earth on
nothing and the north onemp
-ty space. Astronomers used to
laugh at that expression in
Job- “What did Job know a
bout astronomy? lie should
have attended to h's sores
and let astronomy alone. There
is no empty space in the
north. ’ Thai is the way men
used to talk. But one day a
man turned a telescope to¬
ward tile north and found a
f great vacuum. Job was right.
There is an empty space in the
I north Job was not trying to
teach astronomy, hut Job w
scientifically right.

County Agent’s
WeeHy Column
Three Dade County farmers, J.
V. Deakim, W. I, Price and D.T.
Brown, made a tour to Franklin
county, Tenn., Wednesday with
County Agent John R. McDaniel
in the interest of growing crimson
clover. Around 150 farmers and
county agents from North Geor¬
gia made the tour, which was con¬
ducted uy E. D. Alexander, Field
Crop Specialist for the Extension
Division.
Several farms where crimson
clover is being harvested and the
seed threshed were visited. This
is a cash crop for Franklin county
and farmers in that section are
bvilding their soils with crimson
cloqer. Machinery for cleaning
the seed was inspected by t h e
group. These men who made the
trip will be glad to give any in¬
formation that they received on
the growing and harvesting of
crimson clover. Rain prevented
a number of farmers from going
and showers during the day ma< e
it impossible to carry out some of
the demonstrations that they had
planned However, the trip was
well worth while and we feel that
vve received some valuable infor¬
mation on the crop.
