tion of lettuce and peas which

cents and serves six persons.
Lettuce and Peas: Sautd one
medium chopped onion in two
tablespoons butter, and then add
the contents of a No. 2 can of
peas, two cups of shredded lettuce
(about half a head), two table¬
spoons parsley and one-fourth
teaspoon salt, and cook until the
liquor from the peas is almost
cooked away.
