Cave Springs News
By Mrs. Eldie Grant
Our sympathy is extended to
the loved ones of Mr. Charlie
Reeves, who died at his home
January 18th. May God bless
and comfort the family. Jesus
will weep with us; His heart is
touched with our grief; He
knows the pain we feel. We can
not understand these things but
after awhile we’ll understand.
To those most sorely bereaved,
let us not think of father, hus¬
band or uncle Charlie as dead,
but just entered into everlast¬
ing life, where no suffering will
be. He is not dead but gone to
the mansion that was made for
him. Let his passing on not
cause us to feel weak, but
and more determined to reunite
a gain with him and all our
loved ones, who have gone on.
Our loss here is Heaven’s gain.
When my thoughts are absorb¬
ed in my loved ones gone on,
these words keep ringing in my
ears, “Just over beyond in that
City of Gold, where never an
ill can betide; where sweetly
endeavor new beauties unfold,
our dear ones safely abide. The
Boatman will row me across the
still sea, and bear me to those
I love best. I long for
greeting there waiting for me;
I sigh for that haven of rest.
Some beautiful morning the sea
will be calm; Some time I will
land on that plain. And
I will meet the loved ones I
have lost; And forever
them remain. Oh, beautiful city!
Oh! home of the soul! Where
safely the missing ones dwell!
Oh blissful assurance while
unroll, Shall never be heard a
farewell.

nicely. Let everyone come out

when no man can work.
We extend our sympathy to
the loved ones of Mr. Cicero
Massey, who died suddenly
Saturday morning. It was a
shock to all, but we know not
when we shall be taken away. I
trust we shall all be ready when
God calls us home. We can not
understand why our loved ones
have to go but after awhile we
will understand. Surviving are
his wife; one son, and five
daughters, a host of relatives
and friends. Funeral services
were held at the grave with
Rev. Jim Abercrombie officiat¬
ing. Interment was in the New
Salem cemetery.
Suddely came the call,
Your sudden death
Surprised us all.
A sudden change in
A moment fell
Without a chance to
Say farewell.
