It was also pointed out that if
the new system is voted in, more
than half a million dollars will
be paid to Dade County workers

There is to be no tapping fee,
no meter charge during con¬

Rep. Maddox Hale, city attor¬

county-wide water system is the
best solution to the present

Judge A. W. Peck, moderator

HAPPY EVENT FOR HOME BOYS is the initial payment on a 400-acre farm near
Hahira, Ga., to be developed by the Georgia Sheriffs Association as a Boys’ Ranch. Sheriff
Robert E. Lee of Ware county is shown handing the check to Buster Duggon, owner of the
well-developed farm, as sheriff Jewell Futch of Lowndes county looks smilingly on. Futch is
president of the Georgia Sheriffs Association and Lee is secreitary-treasurer. The large pay¬
ment was made possible by sheriffs of Georgia. The association recently started an Honorary
Membership Program as a means of establishing and ihaintaining the ranch for needy boys.
