IN ME^ORIAM.
In loving rAmemberence of Add
Highfield. Ho was born April 7,
1867, died Sept. 14th, 1891. His
slay on earth was short, but God
eaw fit to call him home fos a bet
ter cause. Add was a good boy,
and much loved by all who knew
him. It is so hard to part with
him—the one’wa loved so well, hut
• '
we feel assured he is at rest in his
far off happy home prepared for
those who loved God. He was* sick
near four weeks and his sufferings
were great until his death But
he has paid the debt we all have
pay, but let us not think of him as
dead but think of him as being at
retd after much suffering here on
earth. It is so sad to think we
will never see him no more ou
earth. It is so sad to think we
will never see him no amre on
earth, but by and by we intend to
meet him in Heaven where parting
comes no more. He joined the
Christian Church at the age of
twenty, and was always a good
study boy. He leaves a wife, a
father, three brothers and three
sisters and a host of friends to
mourn his death. But I can say
to the bereaved ones : “Weep not
but look up to that brighter king
dom for he is waiting at that
beautiful gate to weicome you
home.” His remains were laid at
the Byrd Chapel graveyard, there
to await the resurrection morn.
Waiting on the other side,
l o greet u* by and by.
Our souls wi 1 soon take their flight,
Ank meet hico there on bsgh.
Why he was called we are left.
Our wisdom cannon tell;
God e- lied him—he thought it best,
Eo doetli all thing? well.
