IN REMEMBRANCE OF
ENNIS CURETON.
Little Ennis came to see us,
Just four year* ago;
A short while to cheor and love u*
Then ha was called to go,
And live with God in ht* ven,
In that bright homo above,
Where there is joy eternal,
And every heart is filled with
love.
She s bright and laving,
And ’twas hard to let her go,
But God, in infinite wisdom,
Willed it should bn so;
So in meekness we'll submit
To the will of Gwd divine,
He will give us strength to bear it,
And to heaven our haa.its incline
He will guard and keep our darilug
She’ll never suffer mom.
But in heaven she’ll oe waiting
To open wide the dnor;
When wo are called to lo&v* this
world.
We’ll not to go.
Because we’ll see our little airl
Who’? just gone on before.
Then there is another
That left us years ago,
Who wears a crown in heaven
And inl et? as white as snow ;
They’ll be singing 'her? together,
The sonjs the angels love,
And ’twill be joy t-o gather
Around that thrown above
Than we’ll Icjtrn to sing his praises
And say, “thy will be done,”
To the Lord wh died to save us,
God's v 11 beloved eon ;
“He walks with u.=, that angel kind
And gently wnispore. be resigned,
Bear up. hear on. the end shall tell,
The dear Lord ordure th ' 1 fhaigs
well.”

In our issue of last week we stat
ed that “Mr. Case bad mad** ar
rangements for Capt.. Love’ ing to
care for the gentleman at the ho
tel who had been sick and who
died Tuesday. We would not have
it uaderstood by implication or
otherwise that Capt. Lovering was
receiving any pecuniary compen
sation for hia trouble, for such is
not the fact. He simply lodged at
the hotel and cared for the sick
man.
