Polk will appear, in the laughable Comedy (■ailed Mixed Pickles; on the 22nd the Boston Quintette (,'lub Concert Co., who delighted our people with their fine music and singing three years ago will give another one of their elegant Concerts; and on the 27th MonteCristo will be presented. See press notices of these companies. Speaking of the Boston Quintette Club, the San Jose (Cal.) Call says : . “This famous combination of ar tistes gave their last concert in San Jose yesterday afternoon at the Cali fornia Theatre. The caste of the audience was a flattering compliment to their reputation. With regard to to their performance, there can be but one thing said, arid that is a word of superlative praise.
