TEX ALLIANCE EXCHANGE.
Fully Organized, and May be Looa-
ted at Macon- Ita Offloer*.
Mr. Felix Corput, president of the
Alllanes Exchange, will leave for his
lioaie at Cave Spring, He will have
his hands full, being president of his
local alliance, county alliance, execu
tive committee and now lie has been
made president of the exchange.
With few exceptions all the mem
bers of tlie executive committee as
well as the trustees, have returned
home. The session here was harmo
nious and satisfactory. Mr. Corput,
like nil other members, declined to
i give any information as to what was
(lone during the session, except the
election of officers, given in yester-
I day's Telegraph, and that tlie ex
change was organized on an improved
plan from that heretofore proposed.
On his return home, Mr. Corput
will prepare a circular letter giving the
features of the exchange, and these
will be sent as Information to the va-
rous alliance* throughout the coun
try. It is probable that it will be lo
cated at MacoD, owing to her central
position.

The monument to Bishop Pierce
was erected in the new cemetery this
week. It is of the finest marble and
is tastefully and skillfully executed.
