class for the benefit of the Normal
students of the Normal and Industrial
( ollege, who are fitting themselves for
teachers of drawing; all Normal
pupils being required to be present
at each meeting of this class. Place
of meeting, Normal and Industrial
College. Time, 8 to 4 on Fridi.v of
each week, commencing Friday, Dee.
4th, 1891. System taught, “Prang’s
Shorter Course,” widen includes clay
modeling, paper folding, stick, tablet
and water colored designing. Terms,
$2.50 for f> months, paid in advance,
• 50o. per month, paid in advance.
Materials for lessons can be pro

All pupils wishing to join the class
must notify Mrs. Beals on or before
Dec. 1st, as the number iu attend
ance will be limited to 85.

the child's mind and training the eye
in keenness of observation and iu
original construction or designing
and technical skill in execution of

To the Superior Court, of said county:
The Petition, of H. 1). Allen of said
county shows that he and such other
persons as he may hereafter associate
with himself desire to he incorpo
rated under the name and style of
“Allen’s Invalid Home,” said home
to be located in said county, for the
term of Twenty (20) years, with the
privilege of reoewal at the expira
tion of said term. That the capital
stock consists of buildings and real
estate suitable for the purposes here
inafter set forth of the value of ten
thousand dollars ($10,00:) which is
now owned by petitioner in fee simple,
but which limy be increased to fifty
thousand ($50,090). That the pur
pose of said Home shall be for the
treatment, of Inebriates and persons
afflicted with nervous diseases. That
said corporation when established
shall have the power and authority
to appoint a General Superintendent
and such a-sistants as uiay be neces
sary and to prescribe such rules and
regulations for the government of
said Home as may be wise aud expe
dient.
That, said Corpora ion shall charge
and collect such fees for servi#es,
board anil other items of cash in be
half of such patients as may be
placed in said Home.
There shall be a hoard of three (3)
Inspectors, two of whom shall be
practising physicians, nominated by
the Superintendent of the State Lu
natic Asylum, whose duties shall he
to inspect, supervise and suggest the
treatment of all patients in said
Home. The term of office of Inspec
tors shall be for three years. Said
corporation shall defray the expenses
f said Board in discharging their
duties and said Board shall visit, said
Home at least twice every year.
Petitioner prays the granting the
ordir of inooparation for the purpose
herein set forth, and such other and
further order iu the premises as may
be just uud necessary.
