THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY
SERVICE SINGING UNDER DIR
ECTION OF LEADER EMERSON

All Milledgeville is to unite in" a
Thanksgiving community “sing”
Thursday at 11:30 in the morning.
Immediately at the close of the union
service at the Methodiset church',
towns people, members of the various
organizations of the city, students of
both colleges and Milledgeville Chil
dren will gather at the corner of Han
cock and Liberty streets, and unite in
a program of song.
The sing is to be held under the
auspices of the Milledgeville Com
munity Service. Monday the music
committee of citizens met and com
pleted plans for the occasion. The
program is to consist of songs known
to all, and of speuial numbers.
Emerson Stone, who for the last week
has been in the city in the interest of
community music, will lead the mass
singing. All people of the city are
urged to attend. It will be the larg
est community song service that has
ever been held in Milledgeville. The
singing will be accompanied by an
i orchestra which has been obtained

the Crusade Against Tuberculosis in

being Dr. M. L. Brittain, State School
Superintendent; Dr. T. F. Abercrom-

Mary E. Creswell.
