CAR RECOVERED AND GUILTY

Mills or Williams, evidently came
to the city in an Essex car, -which
he had stolen in Sandersville, as an
Essex automobile was fonnd near the
residence of Dr. Binion Monday
morning where it had been left. It

to Sandersville.

was served by the Epworth League.
The supper was well prepared and
daintily served.
At the organization of the Board,
Dr. M. M. Parks was elected Chair
man; Mr. M. S. Bell, Vice Chairman;
Mr. E. E. Bell, Treasurer, and Mr.
R- H. Wottteb, Secretary. The
Board,was then divided into divis
ions, the Finance and the Welfare.

pastor's salary and provide for the

OFFICERS ARREST DISTILLER G - M. C. CLOSES FOR

The officers made a raid in the
northeastern part the county Tues
day and found a still belonging to
Geo. Butts, colored. With the still
they found ten barrels of beer, and
afterwards found five quarts of li
quor at the home of Butts.
Butts was placed under arrest and
brought to the county jail. The beer
was destroyed and the still brought
to the city.

The Christmas holidays at G. M.
C. will commence on Friday, Dec. 18-
The barracks cadets will leave for
their homes and the local students
will gladly commence their holidays.
It is expected that a number of
new cadets will be in the barracks
when the college reopens in January.
