VITAL STATISTICS
Thf most important event in the
Vital Staf«ticn situation In Georgia i»
.the ratification, on November 2nd. of
Jl.“ Constitutional Amendment pro-
kldir.c for the collection of records
g>f births and deaths.
Returns from all of the 161 couYties
In the State show that of the total
rotes cast on this Amendment 67 per
rent wore for ratification, which is
the "reatest per cent ratification any
Constitutional Amendment has re
ceived In the last decade.
ThlH almost unanimous vote clearly
indicates that the people of the State
fully realize the value and necessity
of these statistics and have expressed
their wish for them in no uncertain
terms, it will undoubtedly simplify
the enforcement ol the law. for those
charged with this responsibility will
now have the moral support of pub
lic opinion.
.Vow :hat Georgia has a good Vital
Statlrtlcs Law. backed by the people
of the State, let*6 work together and
secure complete registration bo that
the state may ht admitted to the
Federal Registration Area: otherwise
!*• Vital Statistics will lack authorl-
tatH'i-ness. The Bureau of the Cen
sus has a slogan: “Every State in the
Registration Area by 1920." Let Geor
gia's slogan be: "In the Registration
Area by November. 1927."

not know what to do.
“I thought of Cardui. I began to
take it regularly and it was not long
