One of the real pleasures that we
git from our morning hike is our
brief chat with thesf little fellows.
They experiment with matter and
soon discover for themselves why
certain things are. in their own in
dividual sand piles. ' They quckly
learn the power of pulleys and the
law of levers and their store of knowl
edge is remarkable, gained from their
own experiments. The why matters
little but they do know that if you
do certain things what the result will
