that Mr. G. D. Myrick is convalesc
ing after a serious illness, and is
sitting up. He has asked the Union
Recorder to express his appreciation

CELEBRATE FORTY-EIGHTH
MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Walker cele
brated the forty-eighth anniversary
of their marirage the past Sabbath.
They were married in Houston Coun-
tynt the home of the bried’s parents,
Capt. and Mrs. Wni Simmons, after
their marriage they went to the
home of Mr. Walker in Putnam
County, where they lived three years.
They then moved to Milledgeville,
and have made their home here
forty-five years. Thty live in one
of the prettiest and best located
homes in the city, ahd Mr. Walker
ill engaged in business Their
friends wish for -hem many happy
turns of the day.
