The group winning the most stars was to be entertained by the other group. Group two wus victorious and was most pleasantly entertained at the home of Mr. and Mr. T. H. Hall Wed nesday night with a weina roast. Many games were played and enjoy 'd, but we think the most interesting feature of the evening was the old fashion spelling match between the groups. Miss Lillie Griffin and brothers Messrs Dewie and Morira Griffin, visited friends and relatives at May- field during the holidays. Miss Annie Will Griffin, from the S. S. visited her parents, Mr. and rs. Willie Griffin last week. Mrs. J. W. Blizzard and two chil dren with her mother, Mrs. Addie Swint, spent Thursday and Friday with relatives in Milledgeville. Miss Lillie Griffin was guest of Miss Nissae Blizzard Sunday. Mr. Luther Brookins and children of Linton, spent the week-end with Mr. S .B. Brookin and family. We deeply sympathize with Mr. und Mrs. Zackie Brookins in the death of their little'infant son. which recurred at their home near Linton December 30th, and wus laid to rest in the cemetery at Friendship on Sunduy January 1st. Rev. J. F. Ful ghum conducted the funeral service®. It was three months old, had only been in the home long enough to win the deepest love and affections of the famliy when the Lord saw fit to take it from their arms and place it with his host of angels.
