The store owned and operated on
West Pine Street by Sol Screen, a
colored man. was completed destroy
ed by fire Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, of unknown origin, had
a big headway when the fire depart
ment arrived. The blaze was con
fined to the store there being sev
eral houses near by that were
threatened.

partly covered by insurance, by C. H.
