DISASTER OVERTAKES
FARMER BORROWER
Going tc* extremes in trying to
save a small sum of money .some
times proves much more expensiv
and in this instance the “borrower
surely received the worst in the a
tempt to save $1.50.
A farmer who thought he would
save the subscription price of his
county paper sent his son over to the
neighbors to borrow the latest issue
of the home paper. In his haste
the boy ran over a $4.0 stand of
bees and in ten minutes he look like
warty summer squash. His cries
reached the father who ran to his aid,
nnd failing to notice a barb wire
fence, ran into it cutting a handful!
of flesh from his anatomy and ruin-
a $5.00 pair of pants. The old
took advantage of the gap in
the fence, got into the com field
and killed herself eating green com.
Hearing the racket, the mother
ran, upset a fox^r gallon chum of
cream into a basket of kittens
drowning the litter. In her hurry
tdie dropped and broke, beyond all
hope of repair, a $25.00 set of false
t'eth. The baby, left alone, crawled
through the cream into the parlor
spoiling a $40.00 rug. During the
excitement the eldest daughter ran
sway with the hired man, the dog
broke up eleven totting hens and the
calves got out and chewed the tails
off four fine shirts. AH to savs the

directly opposite views ay to what
is wrong with a murderer-
whether there is anything wrong
with him at all, it little wonder that
thoughtful people lose more or

That luxury adds license, is par

We are very sure that youth is
susceptible to suggestion, with the

when said youth is relieved by so

and, when said youth has his mind
fed twice a day by a capable pres?,

you will reap dismembered bodies of
little girls.
It is easier to nip “dementia prae
