What Will This Treasure
Chest Hold For You
? March 24th. ?
This Treasure Chest will be placed in the
Exchange Bank Monday, March 19 where
all Business the last week will be Deposited.
In order to obtain the stricteit secrecy
as to the amount of collections turned
in by each Hunt member during the last
week of the Treasure Hunt, the race will
be brought to a close under a sealed
box.
Starting Monday, March 19th, no
collection will be accepted by the Trea
sure Hunt Manager, instead members
will themselves deposit their own re
ports, with motley, in the sealed Treas
ure Chest at the Exchange Bank. By so
doing, not even the manager, nor any
one can possibly know the credit
strength of the different members,
which precludes any possibility of fav
oritism, and insures fairness to the
smallest detail. The sealed Treasure
Chest will remain sealed until opened in
the presence of the Members by the
committee of judges on Saturday
March 24th, at 8 P. M.
Treasure Hunt will end at 8:00 P. M.
March 24th, and those present in the
building will make their final deposit
before a seal is placed over the slot in
the Treasure Chest. When the final
hour for the count arrives, the judges
will break open the Treasure Chest and
make the last count of the credits to
deride the winners.
There will be no waiting, however it
is calculated that it will require from
one hour to one and a half hours to
complete the audit of the Treasure
Chest and determine the winners. The
official results will be announced at the
Exchange Bank just as soon after the
count as possible.
Every Member is entitled to be pres
ent or have a representative present
while their credits are being counted.
Special Notice
No personal checks of any kind will be accepted for credit count in the
sealed Treasure Chest. If they are deposited in the Chest no credits will be
issued on them. Only currency, gold or silver. Money orders properly endorsed,
cashiers checks and certified checks will be accepted. Members will, during
the last week of the Hunt, have all checks made out to them personally, cask
same and deposit the money in the Sealed Chest. This rule is made in fairness
to all members and will be strictly adhered to.
