Only once did he excite fear on

orders on probation—was afraid of
a policeman or sheriff, and showed

any kind whatever. He is still in

MERCER GLEE CLUB
HAS MANY FEATURES
Aaron Farr, King of The ChoriU To

An art»st who strums his piano
carelessly and sings whimsicnl songs
of his own composition—This is
Aaron Farr, successor to Ralph Tabor
as pianist of the Mercer Gle** and
Instrumental Clubs, which perform
here Saturday afternoon at the G. S.
C. W. Auditorium and Saturday even

This is Farr’s first year with the
Mercer Glecmen, and he has woi
hearts of his audiences wherever he
has played. The most popular of
his latest compositions is “Freshmen
BlueF.” This nong has a striking touch
of reality for it was from the hands
of Mercer’s cruel Sophomores that
“Aye” received his inspiration.
Before the Farr family moved to
Miami Aaron had his own orchestra
back in his home town in Pennsyl
vania, called “Farr’s melody boys.’’
His orchestra wno in a statewide
competitive ochestra content held at
Penn State.
Whether he sings about the poor
green Freshmen, or the green frog
or simply says, “Alice, I Love You
he does it with a relish which makes
it not unusual for him to stop the
performance with his whimsical of

been combined into one big feature.
