Mr. L. M. Digby, Agent of the Life
and Casualty Insurance Company, of
Tennessee, has paid to Mrs. Eva L.
Smith, widow of the Lute Mr. E. M.
Smith, a check for $1,000. This
represented the amount of an insur
ance policy carried by Mr. Smith
covering accidental death.
This policy was secured by Mr.
Smith for which he paid 5 cents per
week, or $2.60 per annum. He took
thi* policy out about four years ago.
The promptness with which this
policy was paid show* that this com
pany is a strong and reliable one.
