The Alumnae, the Student body of the College, the friends of the Col lege and the faculty have given gen- eruo.4y ami promptly. There has been no n?ed to have a paid collector. The call once heard was quickly and lovingly answered. The Building Committee of the College, Hon. Miller S. Bell, Dr. K. A. Tigner, Dr. J. L. Beeson, and Mr. L. S. Fowler, used the plans submitted by Mr. MacEachron and built the hospital. It stands and will stand to keep the memory green of the man who gave hia youth, his manhood, bis all that Georgia girls might have a better opportunity for preparation for life. It is a beautiful .and commodious building. It is built of hollow tile, faced with brick and is entirely fire proof. The conta^i ward is cut off from the rest of the building by heavy doors and is in every way capable of caring for any The Alumnae banquet and annual business meeting of the Association will be held on Saturday evening, June the second at seven-thirty in the evening, in the Terrell Hall Din ing Room. The graduates and form er students of the College are cordial ly invited to attend the banquet. H. Scott head of the Summer School The largest enrollment the school has had is expected during the »x weeks course that is being offered. Dean Scott stated that applications wera pileing on his desk and that the number already received far exceed ing that of a like period last year. Plans for the work and entertain ment of the sutdents are being rapid ly perfected. A series of lectures and plays will be offered the students. Bishop Warren A. Candler will dedicate the hospital to the uses of mercy and to the mem ory of his friend and former stud ent. Marvin McTeyre Parks. Miss Mary B. Brooks, President of the Alumnae Association will present the building to the Georgia State Col lege for Women and Judge Richard B. Russell. President of the Board of Directors, will accept the building in behalf of the College. After these service, the hospital will be thrown open to the public and thone who are interested are urged to go through the building and inspect it. The Alumnae Association, the student body, and the friends of the College are cordially invited to attend the service. It is hoped that many of the G. S. C. Clubs will send repre sentatives to the dedication and pre sentation of the Marvin Parks Me morial.
