Mrs. Walker has rendered fifteen >

vice to G. M. C., ten years in the |
grades and five years as teacher of |
Latin in the high school department. |
I am confident that in all G. M. C’s j
long history of nearly fifty years, no
more conscientious, faithful or effici
ent teacher than Mrs. Lucy P. Walker
has ever taught there. Her work is
highly appreciated by patron* and
pupils. •
It is very unfortunate that the
funds of G. M. C. were so depleted
that the Board of Trustees could not I
raise Mrs. Walker’s salary, and thus
retain her on the faculty. I am sure
tha‘ if the revenue of the school had
permitted Mrs. Walker’* retention as,
Latin teacher, it would have met with ]
the approval of the patrons of tb
school.
