Moore left this city Tuesday afternon for Hampton Ronds, Va.. where he will enter the United State Navy, going into the training school preparatory to entering Annapolis. Mr. Moore reeived the third alter nates appointment to the academy from Congressman Carl Vinson and stood the entrance examination in Macon before going to Virginia. Mr. Moore will be in training at the Vir ginia Naval ha>»* for about a year when he will be given the opportunity to stand the entrance examination for the academy in view of receiving appointment. Mr. Moore was one of the honor rrndu-i'es at G. M. C. the past year and made n very brilliant record dur ing his four years in the cadet corps.
