early date accompany her father, Mr.
R. W. Hatcher, for a visit to Boston

North nnd East.

corder in mentioning the Degree
Students nnd Graduates at G. S. C.
the name of Miss Elizabeth Barr
unintentionally omitted.
Barr received her degree in Bachelor
of Science in Education.
Mr. J. W. Overstreet, of Wadley,
will succeed Mr. E. D. T.aylor, as
prescription clerk at the Culver &
Kidd Drug Co. Mr. Overstreet i
experienced drugged, and ci
highly recommended. Mr. Taylor will
go to Cocoanut Grove, Fia., the first
of July, where he will work in
of the leading drug stores.

his recent injuries received ir
automobile accident, when his
was struck by a truck driven I
negro, and resumed his practice .Dur
ing the time he was confined to his
home, he w.as greatly missed not only
by those to whom he minestered, but
by all our people, as he is not only
greatly loved physician, but is held
esttem by every one, as he is one
of Milledgeville'y most respected
citizen.

An announcement of unusual inter
est was made this week by Mrs. Mary
Swann, in announcing the marriage
of her daughter Eva Pauline to Mr.
John W. Clayton of A.lanta.
The ceremony was performed at
the home of Miss Swann’s brother,
Mr. Arvil T. Swann, Rev. H. D. War
nock oficiating. Only the immediate
family and a few friends were pres
ent.
Mi* Swann is tt graduate of the
Georgia State College for Women
and is a young women of rare beauty
and personality. Mr. and Mrs. Clay
ton wll make their homo in Atlanta.

The home had been attractively
decorated with cut flowers gathered
from the yards. A bountiful barbe
cue dinner was served, a handsome
silver vase filled with Easter Lillies
being the center decoration on the
tables.
