JO OTHER CAR in all the world
controls quite so ea*»:h—with
such complete lack of effort—as the
new Nash "400”.
Nash engineers have developed a
new steering mechanism to achieve
this result. An ingenious arrangement
of roller bearings and a roiicr-tooth
traveling in a worm gear, reduces fric
tion to a minimum hitherto thought
impossible.
Women drivers find new help and
gain new confidence in parking. Little
effort is needed to bring the "400”
up to. or away from, the curb.
Gear shifting is jusi as easy. The
"400” clutch pedal depresses at a
touch, scarcely resisting the weight of
your foot. The conveniently placed
shifting lever moves smoothly, easily,
from one speed ro another.
If you ever find that driving a car
tires you, try driving a Nash "400”.
It will give you an entirely new con
ception of how effortless, how pleas
urable, motoring can be!

The operation of the automobile
in Georgia has become a complex
problem, and such legislation that

The matter of the driver is one of
the phases that would go toward the
solution of the problem. Many in

USELESS AGITATION
The State Prison Farm near Mil-
lcdgeville is the center of the penal
system of Georgia. It was but logi
cal that when the electric chair was
established that it should have been
located at the headquarters of the
State penitentiary. Tins was the
view of the members of the Georgia
Legislature at the time the chair
was established and located, and it
is quite probable that opinion has
not been changed.
The Union Recorder wishes that
the chair was elsewhere on account
