rirw* Smile to Farmer#
The thermometer took a summer
ie Sunday morning when Old Sol
sent the mercurv soaring past ninety
degrees before noon time had been
reached and the hot weather contin
ues through the week with cooler
weather predicted for the remaining
days.
Farmers found it easy to smile
when the sun and heat followed a
long siege of wet and cold weather.
Plunting of crops and the prepara
tions of soil has been hampered by
the adverse weather conditions.
