Miss Gertrude Treanor went to Savannah Friday to carry home the bright and sweet little daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Florencourt, who have been visiting their aunts. Misses Mary and Katie Cline, for the past several weeks. MRS TWILLEY ENTERTAINS WITH CHILDREN’S PARTY On last Thursday afternoon, Mr*. O. B. Twilley was hostess to n most attractive party, in honor of her son Frank’s birthday. The home was decorated in pink and white, Dorothy Perkins ropes being the predominating flower. A host of lovely children gathered on the lawn nnd spent a happy two hours at play, after which they were served with ice cream and cake. To little guests were: Martha Du- as, Edd Athon, Jr., Larelle Hard- sn, Betty Lawrence, Stephen Thom- Bivins, Janie Frances Bivins Katherine and Martha Carpenter, Walter Brown, Jr M Sara Alma, Jea nette, and Yvonne Giles, Tom Darrow Amelda Bullard. Marcelle Vinson, James and Frances Crooms, Leah Levine, Betty Hayes, Helen Watkins and Madalyn Jackson. Mr?. Twilley was assisted in enter taining by Mr and Mrs. Frank Twill- y of Tampa, Fla. NOTED DOCTORS TO VISIT CITY Psychiatrists in Convention in Atlanta Invited Here to Visit Sanitarium and Allen’s URGE DELEGATION EXPECTED MRS. W. S. JETT ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB Mi% vy. Ss. Jett was hostess to the mi mbcr:-, of her bridge club on last Friday evening at her apartment at the Sanitarium. The guests were seated at two tahl/** and were served delirious re freshments at the conclusion of the games. Spring flowers were beauti fully arranged in vases about the Noted Doctors attending the Amer ican Psychiatric Association in Con vention in Atlanta this week will visit Milledgeville this week-end, coming here as special guests of the staff of the Georgia State Sanitarium and Doctors Allen. Dr. K. D. Allen and Dr. R. C. j Swim extended the invitation and if is under.-tood many of the Doc tors will come here for the week end. The meeting in Atlanta is at tended by noted alienists from all parts of America and the largest at tendance in many years is present for the convention. Heads of private Sanitariums and State Hospitals representing pratically every state in the union are there. Dr. H. D. Allen, Dr. Edwin Allen, Dr. R. C. Swint. Dr. N. P. Walker, Dr. J. W. Mobley, Dr. George L. Echols and other members of the Sanitarium staff are attending the convention. The doctors at the Sanitarium are dividing the time to attend he convention and several are making the trip to Atlanta each day. The visiting doctors while here will be the guests at the home of Dr. Allen and at the State Sanitarium. A barbecue will be given in their honor on Saturday at the Sanitarium, nnd they will make an inspection trip through both the Stac Hospinl nnd Dr. Allen's. It has not been learned how- many of the doctors will be here. G. M. C.
