LIGHTENING STRIKS HOME OF

During the terrific electrical storm
of Saturday. July 0th, a lightning
bolt f struck the home of Mr. R. G. j
Smith .-.cross the river, doing a .‘ mall 1
damage.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith were at homo
when the lightening hit one of the
chimney? on the house. Brick from
the chimney fell on tho roof and
into the yard. Plastering in several
rooms fell. Mrs. Smith stated that
t.o -erious damage was done, although
received a shock and a fright.
