I saw Floridc Allen this week. Sh'-
is just bark from Kentucky. She.
knows all the raring parlance and can
tell you the names of all the wonder
ful race horses. Floride attended
many of the big rices and must have j
had the time of her life, of course
Carrie ADen was with her ind so was
Mrs. Chas Moore and I*r. Allen.
I was very much impressed with the
exhibits at the Fair last week,
especially the Union Point and Blaek
Springs. All of the exhibits wore
good -ind Wt can take a real prid in
our farmer., and their communities.
Out «n the hill the grass is be
coming gretner, the flowers beauti
ful and the shrubbery fresher look
ing as fall creeps upon us and I can
say the same frr all other >ectionr
of Milledgeville. We have a beauti
ful city .and I am glad the Garden
club is a real organization. We can
d> much more to beautify our city
and I do believe the women are more
nterested now than ever.
