Brnnan's friend* are very glad to see her out again. The many friends of Rev. Roark, pastor of the Methodist church, re gret his leaving our community to accept work at Monticello Circuit. Rev. Guest will he pastor here for the coming year. Miss Lillie GJ*iltfin visited rela tives in DecpMcp last week-end. The ull day *inging at the Baptist church Sunday was very good ami enjoyed by many. Miss Nettie Johnson and Miss Donnie Mae Harden spent Sunday with Mrs. Lewis Jones. The many friends of Mr. T. R. Willis hre very sorry to hear that he has not improved, and is still con fined to his J»ed. Mr. Arthur Smith, of Macon, visit ed Mr. Edwin Cooper last week-end. Mrs. A. B. Berry and family visit ed relatives in Coopcrville. Gn., Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hosley nnd chil dren are visiting Mr. nnd Mrs. L. S. Hosley. Msses Lillie Mae Allen, Sarah Grimsley, Addic Brag, nnd Mr. Bill and Emory Martin, and Paul Riley, mortered to Stone Mountain and At lanta, Ga., Sunday. Mr. S. T. Cambdcll, of Winder, Ga., visited Miss Marguerite Berry Tuesday night. Mr. George Ross, Sr., and Jr., have arrived home, after a delightful hunting in Florida. The many friend* of Mr. Tom Far rell arc very sorry that he is still confined to his room. Mr. Ben Simpson hns completed another new house near the Christian church. Rev. Guest, pastor of the Metho dist church, will preach his first ser mon here Sunday morning at eleven o'clock. • Mrs. Catherine Beeson Wright, the only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. L. Beeson and now of Staunton, Va., has written a very creditable poem which the Union Recorder gladly publishes. Mrs. Wright has gained recogni tion in the literary world and » an artist of note. The Alumnae Association under the direction of its president, Miss Katherine Scott, is revising the bull etin of September 1926, which gave a register of the Graduates of the Georgia State College for Women from 1892 through 1926. It I* the def ire of the association to bring this register up-to-date and to correct the addresses of the graduates. The faculty and students of the Ccdlege were requested to aid in se curing the necessary information. Many of the graduates have given wtluublc help by sending to the Association the names, addresses, dates of graduation of the Alumnae i their communities. Much inter- ting material has been secured and is the desre of the committee to make the new bulletin of interest and value to the College, the Alum- Association, and the graduates.
