Mis* Leone Fredericlcson was the charming hostess on last Saturday to a number of her friends at a delight ful bridge party-at the nurse’s home at the State Hospital. The guests were seated at tables arranged in the beautiful drawing room .and were served a delicious course dinner. Pots of growing plants were artistically arranged to contribute to the loveliness of the affair. Games of bridge were enjoyed 'hroughout the evening. Mrs. H. S. Tones wn^ h*"*h score and Mrs. J. C. Statham was presented with conso&tion prize. MRS. HARRY BONE ENTERTAINS BRIDGE CLUB. Mrs. Harry Bone entertained the members of her bridge club on Fri day afternoon .at her home on Mont gomery street. News from Atlanta where little Caroline Banks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaither Banks, is in the Pied mont Hospital where she underwent an operation, stated that the little girl’s condition had improved. Mr. Bank went to Atlanta Monday ‘o be present for another operation, but treatment had been successful and the improvement shown in the condition of little Caroline made the operation Inadvisable. COACHES. ATTEND C. I. A. MEET IN ATLANTA. Coaches Slap Rentz and Johnny Broadnax attended a meeting of the G. I. A. A. in Atlanta Monday night and were awarded the football championship and 'the Dartmouth cup, the cup to be sent here at an early date. Swimming, golf, boxing and wrest ling were added to the ’.ompetitive sports list. G. M. C. will sponsor the swimming meet in the late spring. DELEGATES NAMED TO DIOCES AN COUNCIL TO MEET IN ATLANTA ' At a congregational meeting of the member of St. Stephens Episco pal church last Sunday, delegates were named to attend the meeting of the Atlanta Diocese of the,church to be held in Atlanta next week. The delegates named were: Mr. Frank Bone, Mr. Ewell Atkins, Mr. Jere Moore, and Mr. W. S. Jett. Mrs. Atkins, Mr*. Lindsey and Mrs. Frank Bone were named as alter nates.
