Files of the Union Recorder, then
the Southern Recorder, were par-
chased by Dr. J. L. Beeson for the
library of G. S. C. W., bringing a
■tore of valuable information to the
students.
The files are for the years 1833,
34 and 35 and about half of 1880.
Incidents of the years are told in the
papers and the students are taking
much interest in their new property.
They will be kept for the students of
history who are making research
work. Dr. Bfxuon consider?', the new
btoks unusually valuable and the
college fortunate in securing them.
The volumns .arc completely bound
and well preserved.

know that most of the people who are eagerly
