1-2 c. light corn syrup

Combine sugar, syrup, and water.
iok this mixture to hard ball stage,
•at egg whites until ttiff and pour
syrup over them slowly, beating
constantly. Add nuts and vanilla and
-ontinue beating until mixture will
iold its shape—drop on waxed paper

3-4 cup sugar
1-4 cup lemon juice

Soak gelatine in cold water five
minutes, dissolve in boiling water,
.Id sugar and lemon juice, strain

wire spoon until frothy; add whites
of -eggs beaten stiff, and continue
beating until stiff enough
shape. Pile by spoonfuls on gists
dish. Chill and serve with boiled
custard.

1 cup syrup
1 large*spoon butter
2 grated potatoes
3 eggs-
1 ts. cinnnm«n
1-2 ts. cloves
1-2 ts. allspice
Orange peel
Mix potato, sugar, syrup together
and add melted butter, then sweet
milk to mnkc quite thin. Add three
veil beaten eggs, ;hen seasoning.
Pour in baking dish and bake ii.
