Do not. make use of leaders or more properly “Misleaders” sometimes called “sucker bait” Freely use advertised goods to get customers into the store. Sell some items low and “make it up” on others, not so well known. Sell goods at reasonable prices. Are operated on local capital. Are owner operated. Are operated on foreign capital. Are operated by managers for the foreign capitalists. Offer the convenience of busing without going shopping, leaving leis ure hours uninterrupted. Require the housewife to spend a good part of her time buying and hauling. Contribute to local charities and in-' stitutions. Seldom, if ever, contribute to any thing which does not put another dol lar into the pocket of their foreign capitalist owners. Have the interest of the community at heart Have the interest of the unknown and foreign owners at hear*.. Helped to build our community, and make it what it is by their industry and effort Come to us, like the cuckoo, that lays its eggs in a nest built by others with the hope that others will hatch them as if they were their own.
