Use enough extra flour to mix flour to paste, thin enough to strain. When smooth add yolks of eggs, mix well and strain. Pour the hot mixture slowly the flour and eggs, ttirring all the time. Cook until thick taking not to let it boil for it will curdle. Cover with damp cloth while cooling. DR. DANIELS READS POEMS AT K1WANIS MEETING. Dr. Francis Daniels, member of the G. S. C. W. faculty, read a num ber of poems of his own composition before the members of the Kiwanis club at their regular meeting last Thursday evening. Dr. Daniels is of the most gifted writers and speakers in the city and his nppera- ance before the club was one of many that have been most enjoyable. MRS. Lindsley, head ci the de partment of Chemistry at G. S.C. W., has recently received high praise in the Journal of Industrial Chomistry for his book published in 1929 on Industrial Microscopy. The Journal credits Dr. Lindslev with having written the first book this .ine wheih is a text book rather than a catalogue. Last Saturday, February 22, Dr. Lindslcy attended the Georgia Aca demy of Sciences meeting at Agnes Scott College, where he made an ad dress on Industrial Microscopy. TWO WELL KNOWN COLORED MEN DIE Lewis Ferrell and Henry Warren ire buried Sunday afternoon. Ferrell is a well known tinner, and has been employed at the State Sanitarium a number of years past Warren was connected with the street force of the city for a long time, and was janiior at the City Hall until his health failed. They killed several wlid duck, and a four teen pound turkey hen. The turkey flew out'of the swamp and started across the river. Both of the Doc- shot at her twice, before hei* flight was stopped. It was agreed that Dr. Childs could claim in Macon he killed her, and that when Dr. Turner came home he could tell his friends of his success in bringing down a large wild turkey hen.
