Sunday School, and h Missionary pro
gram is rendered by one of the de
partments. The past Sunday the pro
gram was rendered by the children of
the Primary' Department under the
direction of Mrs. W. A. Massey,
Superintendent. The entertaniment
given by the children was greatly en
joyed by the other members of the
Sunday School. The program was
as follows:

ATTENDS FUNERAL.

Inn, S. C., the room mate of Dr. H.
D. Allen while they were students
at the Atlanta Medienl College came
here Monday to pay a final tribute
to his beloved friend.
Only two members of the class of
1870, one of the first to receive their
.diplomas, arc now living. About a
I year ago a class reunion was held ami
Dr. Allen and Dr. Stewart were the
only two to attend. Dr. C. T. Eto-
vall, of Vienna, another member of
the class, could not uttend due to ill
health.
Dr. Allen named ht enew men's
building at hi> hospital Stewart Hall
in honor of his life long friend.
The official reports from Washing
ton the closing year showed that 5,-

the county during 1929.
The figure rompared with that of
1928 shows that the yield was doub
led. 1928 crop report* showed 2.877
bales for the year.
