door of said county, within the legal
hours of sale, on the first Tuesday
in May, 1930, to the highest bidder
for cash, the following described

Ten shares of the capital stock of
the First National Bank of Miliedge-
ville, Georgia, represented by stock
certificate No. 350, issued by that
bank ;also, ten shares of the capital
stock of The Merchants A Farmers
Bank of Milldegeville, Georgia, repre
sented by certificates Nos. 77, 155,
and 140, issued by that bank; also,
forty-seven shares of the capital
stock of The Merchants & banners
Ban*' of Milledgeville, Georgia,
represented by stock certificate No.
230, issued by that bank; and also,
one share of the capital stock of The
Baldwin County Fu.r Association,
represented by stock certificate No.
34, issued by that association.
The share of stock in the Baldwin
County Fair Association was issued
in the name of Baldwin Hotel, which
is a trade name of Mrs. Alice E. Me-
Craw, under which trade name she
operated her hotel businc&L The
forty-seven shares of capital stock
of The Merchants A Farmers Bank,
represented by stock certificate No.
230, will be sold in five lotes; four
lots will be of ten shares each, ane
lot of seven shares.
The above described property will
be sold as the property of Mrs. Alice
E. McCraw, deceased, for the pur
pose of paying the debts due by her
estate and for making distribution
among her heirs.

ber, 1929, for taxes due the State of
Georgia and Baldwin County for the
year of 1929 .against the owners of
the above described parcels of land,
and said sale will be made to satisfy
above mentioned fifa’s. I have notify
ed the defendants in fifa, and the
tenants in possession of the levy and
the terms time and place of sate
required by law.

County, Georgia.
The petition of Milledgeville Light
ing Company respectfully showi
follows:
1. That it was incorporated by
virtue of an order and judgment of
this Honorable Court for the full
term of twenty (20) years on the
10th day of June, 1924.
That it now desires to sur
render to the State its said charter
and franchises as a corporation and
be dissolved by order and decree of
this Honorable Court.
That such dissolution may be
allowed without injustice to any
stockholder oi to any person having
claims or demands of any character
agaimt this corporation.
That it has disposed of all of
its property and has paid, or provid
ed for the payment of, all demands
and obligations of every kind owing
by it to any pers-n or persons.
5. That at a . cial meeting of
it* stockholders called for such pur
pose, and with notice to each stock
holder, held at the orflce of the
Company on March 18, 1930, at which
meeting every stockholder was pres
ent or represented, a resolution was
unanimously adopted by the affirma
tive vote of its entire outstanding
capital tock resolving that thc cor
poration should surrender its charter
and franchises to the State and lie
dissolved as a corporation; that
proper proceedings for this pnrp<

erior Court of Baldwin County, Geor
