C., and Col. Vinson will be present at the opening session of congress next Monday. Congressman has spent the fall here looking after his farming inter ests. He was recently nominated and elected for another term with out opposition. If the Democrats should organize the house in 1931, Congressman Vinson will be chair man of the Naval affair.s committee. DEATH OF MRS. MELINDA WOOD Mrs. Melinda Wood, aged 82 year.*, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E D. Prosser, Tuesday Nov. 18th, after a long illness.
