THE G. M. C. ALUMNI REUNION
Plans are now being worked out
for the annual reunion of former
students of G. M. C. The fosterers
of the undertaking are enthusiastic
in their work and believe that this
years get -together of former students
will be the greatest that has ever
been put over.
The committee is asking the help
of every former student in the coun
ty, and we have no fear of their re
quests being turned diwn.
There is no asset that Milledge-
ville has that is quite as important
as G. M. C. We have often preach
ed the need of factories and other
enterprises to bring more money in
to our county, but we sincerely be
lieve that in G. M. C., the people
of. Milledgeville have something that
will mean far more to them Mian
two or three factories.
If the people here will place their
enthusiasm back of this school and
start a movement that will spread
throughout this state to make G. M.
C. the outstanding military school
of the south, the second Weit Point
of the nation, as a part of the states
educational system, we will receive
benefits that are undreamed of.
Far greater than *the monetary
value that it will have will be the
service to car young men. We have
in G. M. C. the foundation for a
great school, and we are letting an
opportunity slip by when we arc in
different to its needs. G. M. C.
should never go wanting, and while
we think of the approaching reunion,
we should also determine to do all
that we can to make it a better
school and to help carry forward the
pt-ogram of development that has
been begun.
