Mrs. C. H. Allen, of Barnett who
ia visiting her daughter, Mrs. T.
Lawrence and Mrs. Stacy Bristow in
this c.ty, happened to the painful
r.ccident Wednesday morning, when
she fell and broke her right arm.
The broken bone was set and placed
in splints by a physician.
Horace Atkisson is spending sev-
eial days of this week in Athens.
Mr. W. T. Hamilton has returned
to Athens after visiting Mr. and Mis.
W. L. Gholson.
Mrs. G. W. Johnson, who recently
came to this city from Sparta, to
make her home, is in the Rawlings
Sanitarium at Sandcrsville, tfhere she
underwent an operation. The report
i ‘hat her condition is steadily im
proving. Mrs. Johnson is a daughter
of the late Judge Bc-b Lewis of
Sparta. Mr. Johnson is the local
ngent of the Express Co.
Mrs. Fannie Gilmore received con
gratulations of her many friends
Wednesday when she celebrated her
85th birthday. Mrs. Gibnoie is one
of the county's- oldest residents and
makes her heme with her daughter,
Mrs. O. M. Ennis.
Miss Josephine Haddock of Had
dock, Ga., is the guest of her aunt.
Mrs. R. B. Bonner, for a few days,
Miss Haddock attended G. S. C. W.

PROCTOR’S TOURIST CAMP
OPENS TUESDAY NIGHT

Cost of $4,000 With Ten Cottages
and Dance PariUion.
Proctor's .Sun-set Tourist Camp,
seven miles west of Milledgcville,
will be formally opened on next
Tuesday evening with u dance nt the
pavillion which is a part of the camp.

conveniences including rest rooms,
running water in each cottage, lights,

Capt. Proctor has announced that

“Proctor's Sunset Tourist Camp" nnd
the slogan is "Stop by for Food, Fun

selection will go to Frank Braxley.
The camp wlil be opened next
Tuesday evening at eight o’clock.
