rigidly prevented, by screening or
other means, from having access to
human foods. Therefore, prevention
of fly breeding is a preventive mea
sure against typhoid fever.
Water for drinking and culinary
purposes should be obtained, when-
possible, from

man excreta. If water which is likely
to be so poluted must be used, it
should be subjected previously to
