is a young lady of charm and beauty.
She is a graduate of Wesleyan where
she made a splendid record in scho
lastic attainment. For the past two
yeara she has been teaching at Tait,
Ga.
Dr. Smith is a graduate of the
University of Georgia Medical school
and is now assigned to C. C
camp near Bainbridge a* medical
officer. He spent a summer here as
interne at Allen’s Invalid Home and
made many friends in this city.

returned to their home in Panama
after spending several weeks with
relatives in the United States. Mrs.
Cantrell was honored at many de
lightful social affairs during her
visit here.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Larsen, of
Panama, are visiting Mr. and Mrs.
W. P. Simpson and Mrs. Larsen's
mother, Mrs. Suddie Huff. Mrs.
Larsen, a sister of Mrs. Simpson, is
well known here. She and her hus
band have been employees of the

day, and her friends were gratified
to learn of the success that she has
attained in her line of work.
