Robert B. Moore, III, who has been
visiting his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. R. B. Moore, returned to his
home in Athens Thursday. He was
accompanied to Athens by Mr-
Moore and Mr. Sam Evans, who
spent the day in the classic city.

Miss Florence Proctor of Devcreux
entertained at her home on Friday
evening with a farewell party in
honor of Miss Sarah Taylor who has
m*de hrr home in Milledgeville for
the past three years. She left for
her new home in North Carolina
Saturday morning. Proming and
dancing was enjoyed. In the midest
of the evening delicious refresh
ments were served.

A marriage centering the interest
of a host of friends throughout
Georgia and Alabama is that of Miai
ivelyn Wilson to Mr. Thomas E.
Calloway, which was quietly solemn-
zed Saturday evening, August 26,
in Macon. Rev. Ed Cook, pastor of
the Mulberry street Methodist church
officiated.
The bride was lovely in her wed
ding ensemble of navy blue triple
crape, tfashioned along simple but
coming lines. The dress was self
trimmed except for a crisp bow of
vhite organdy st the neck, she wore
a navy felt bat and accessories to
match.
Mrs. Calloway is the only daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bart Wilson of
this city and has spent her entire
life here. She received her A. B. de
gree at the Georgia State College
for Women and since that time has
mght in the public schools of Bald
win and Houston counties.
Mr. Calloway is a prominent
young business man of Mt. Creek,
Alabama.
Immediately following the cere
mony the young couple leift for a
ehort trip through North Georgia
and Alabama, after which ‘hey will
be at their home at Mt. Creek, Ala
bama.

by Mr. R. W. Hatcher of this city and he thereby becomes
secretary and treasurer of the company.
