Mr. O. B. Anderson, of Edgefield.
S. C., accompanied by two young
men, was in the city Friday. They
were returning from a trip to the
Century of Progress Exposition. Mr.
Anderson, who is a court stenograph
er made his home in Milledgeville
at one time. He had charge of the
business department at G. M. C.
and afterwards conducted a business
college in the city. He has never
lost interest in iG. M. C., or in Mil
ledgeville, and always enjoys com
ing here and meeting his old friends.
Mr. J. B. Cox has accepted a po
rtion with Che Milledgeville Supply

$50-7. Mr. Barrett referred to his
books of several years back and

The first of September was a busy
day in the city. Trucks were on the
move all day transfering furniture
and household effects to new desti
nations, and house-keepers and their
assistance were hard at work plac
ing it. By night a number of our
citizens were in new homes which
they will occupy another year. These

Mr. John C. Stiles has given up
the hotel at Murfreesboro. Tenn.,
has come to the city and assumed the
management of the Milledgeville
Hotel. He and Mrs. Stiles arrived
last week, and are now at home at
the hotel. Mr. Stiles, as a boy. learn
