A powerful football eleven from
Brewton-Parker will come to Mil-
ledge ville Friday to battle the cadets
of G. M. C. in their second game of
the season on Davenport field.
The game start* at three-thirty
and will bring together two power
ful Junior College elevens of Geor
gia, the first of the 1933 season.
Brewton-Paraker played the cadets
to a dose score last year and come
back to MilledgevAlle afveng^
themselves of the licking a year ago.
With many veterans on the team
again this year, the game should give
the pupils of Wallace Butt* a real
test
The cadets emerged from their
opening game last Friday with out
injuries. All of the squad saw
tion and Coach Butts took account
of the way the young men handled
themselves under fire. He will prob
ably send the same starting line-up
bade into the game next Friday.
Long defensive drills have been
held this week. The inability of the
cadets to cheek the Oglethorpe pass
ing attack gave the eoach some
worrry and he has given the boys
plenty o*.chance to smooth out these
errors In their practices through the
week. At any rt'-e a stronger, more
finished eleven should be on the
field this Friday and with the Brewe-
>on-Parken team promising plenty
of trouble, the game should be a
choice one for the fans.
