Today is Hospital Donation Day
in Milledgeville.
By proclamation of Mayor J. A.

be used to help the institution meet

ed that every person who came, to
register at the office, so that ho
could thank them for their port- in
the occasion. The Negro citizens arc
asked tc come at nine in the morn
ing and two in the afternoon.
It is hoped that this will become
an annual event which will give the
citizens: of the county the oppor
tunity to contribute toward
charity cases that are cared for at
the City Hospital.
It was suggested that either can-
r..'d fruits or vegetables, fruit juices
or money be the nature of the gift*.
The hosp’tal authorities said that
the institution had a sufficient
amount of linen to meet the needs
and that sweets, such as jellies and
preserves, were not used a great
deal and to have quantities of this
on hand was uselem.
